Welcome Steve! This is Ecogy’s Custom LLM Enabled AI Assistant. To understand the nuances of this tool in greater detail, Thomas has prepared a short write up on our wiki to elaborate - this is the place to start!

We will be expanding the ways in which our team can interact with him over time (eg. via Email or Directly in Ecosuite), but for now you can simply invite him to a Google Meeting using his ‘General’ email “steveAI@ecogyenergy.com". It will listen to - and remember - conversations and can respond to questions in meeting. Importantly Steve is very unique when compared to the MANY similar tools being released (ie Otter, Read, TacIQ, Fireflies etc. etc. etc.) - How?

  • Firstly - Steve will have “Personalities” that will evolve as part of the Ecogy team. They will be invited to many meetings across the organization - and in certain cases the meetings these personalities should be invited to will be specific (eg. SteveAI+DealApproval is for Deal Approval Meetings Only). These personalities will be learning like any other new hire would throughout the process. Odd as it may seem - it is very important that we interact with and educate Steve (and his relevant personalities) as we would any other new member of the team.

  • Steve has the capability to access Data in Ecogy’s Ecosuite. Ask him a question about specific project and he will proactively download the relevant data (which may take a moment) and get you an answer. You will find he is pretty sharp for a new guy!

  • Steve utilizes Anthropic’s LLM and is systematically accessed via their API. As a result, all data, conversations and prompts that he receives are private to Ecogy and cannot be used to train the underlying model itself (unlike using ChatGPT’s browser chat window for example). This is critical to info security for our organization.

DEMAND RESPONSE

  • Ecogy has officially passed our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Generac Grid Services for Integration into the Eversource Connected Solutions Market. This opens up utility level Demand Response Opportunities via Load Curtailment and Battery Energy Storage assets in the MA, CT and NH markets. Big Milestone for the development of this product at Ecogy!
